After opening in 2021, Tipis at Whatton House has provided couples with three giant tipis and a chill-out tipi for dreamworthy weddings. Nestled in the jaw-dropping gardens of Whatton House, the venue is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. With a cosy feel thanks to the solid wood flooring and twinkling lights that add a romantic vibe, what location could be better?
It’s not just the tipis that will have couples swooning; the grounds will transport pairs to a secret garden with a tranquil forest area, pristine lawns and beautiful blooms. Wander along the winding pathways and steal a few moments together as newlyweds while soaking up the spectacular views of the Leicestershire countryside. Tipis at Whatton House is also home to a charming rickety old bridge across a peaceful pond and an iconic swing, which provides couples with picture-perfect opportunities.
Exchange vows in The Bark House surrounded by 150 loved ones. The wooden and stone building is located behind a smaller tipi that houses all the guests. Continue the celebrations in the main tipis, which provide the perfect backdrops for memorable and rustic weddings. The bar at Tipis at Whatton House is fully managed and included in the venue hire. The venue works with the brilliant Black Peppermint Food Co and several other street food vendors for all needs. The catering team will manage the bar, which regularly serves his and her signature cocktails.
The venue doesn’t offer on-site accommodation, but several hotels are located within a five-mile area.
